Ian Woosnam, Welsh ambassador in the run-up to The 2010 Ryder Cup, was among the winners at the Ryder Cup Wales annual gala dinner and awards, sponsored by CCV in conjunction with the Golf Union of Wales, recently held at The Vale Hotel, Golf and Spa Resort.

Ian Woosnam, Captain of the winning 2006 European Ryder Cup Team, today (Friday, 3rd October) joined local school children at Caerleon Golf Club to give his support to the development course that has received substantial financial support from the Ryder Cup Wales Legacy Fund.

Machynlleth Golf Club marked the opening of their latest course development after the completion of work to a 9-hole short course development.
